The only page this blog needs: books

Important Update: I have transferred from SRJC, so I will no longer be taking care of this site. I considered finding someone to pass the password off to, but it seemed better not to (see bottom of page). Take care students, and keep refusing to pay too much for books.

Farewell and Guide
I built this page by finding books and hosting them on free sites (WordPress and Google), all of which can be set up with anonymous accounts. Instead of passing this off to someone, I feel it would be more inline with the philosophy of this site, freedom of information and education for all, to give a brief intro to how to set up a free site of copy written material for anyone who should have access to it: everyone. Remember that this is illegal, so don’t access the account from any computer you or someone you know owns, or a computer you sign into (like at the SRJC library). My hope is that several of you will make sites like this for your classmates, and you will take that with you to your other universities. I’d advise making new ones when you move less the access points be tracked and you narrow the copyright police’s search from students at SRJC to students at SRJC who transferred to UC Davis in Fall 2015.

At any rate, making one is pretty easy. Sign up for Gmail, then you Google Drive to upload all the pdfs you have. In the sharing options of each one make them accessible to anyone with a link. Make a WordPress blog with just one page, and make links that direct to the links of the books on Google Drive.

You’re done.

Good luck on finals, and fuck textbook costs.

P.S. Make sure not to link this WordPress or the Gmail account you make to any of your personal accounts, such as with email forwarding. That is just asking to get caught.

  1. I’m very grateful for all these pdfs that you leave for us students. I do want to make a mention if you haven’t heard already that there is a new Physics book required at least for Phys 40 at the SRJC: “Physics for Scientists and Engineers : A Strategic Approach with Modern Physics by Randall D. Knight 3rd ed.” I will be on the hunt for the pdf to try and send to you. I just wanted to let you know in case you were quicker to find it in case you knew of better resources to get a hold of it.

Here is the link to the half.ebay.com for the book

    Thank you!

  2. Greetings! This blog is amazing, just wanted to ask you to email me asking for math 27 (shell) pdf book! It took me a long time to find it and I’d love to share it with you! I couldn’t find an email address I could send it to you so if you could help me out I’d be more than glad to send you the file.

  3. I was directed back to this sight again because so-and-so thought you had Mathematica (at least, this is where they were able to get it). Is there a chance you might be able to make that downloadable again? It is a super helpful program. Thank you for your time and work.
